We offer a hybrid work schedule that is consistent with the department’s telework policy. The Personnel Supervisor I works 40 hours per week, generally in an office setting with elevator access and a cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. The incumbent in this position has frequent contact with DIR staff, representatives from other State agencies, and the public in person, by telephone, and/or email. Much of this contact is of a sensitive and confidential nature. Extensive use of a computer is required. Being in a stationary position for long periods of time. This office will be relocating in December 2025, to the renovated New Labor Agency Building in Downtown Sacramento, at 1416 9th Street.In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
