Travel Rate: $2,351.50/week
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Surgical/Operating Room Technician for a travel contract in a high-acuity Pediatric OR setting. The ideal candidate will possess advanced scrub skills across a broad range of specialties and have proven experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers. Key Responsibilities:
Perform scrub duties for pediatric surgical cases, including general and specialty procedures
Assist in surgeries including ortho, ENT, vascular, GYN, GU, and trauma
Ensure proper sterile technique and instrument handling throughout procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia personnel
Prepare the OR and surgical equipment based on procedure requirements
Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and hospital protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years recent scrub experience in an acute care OR
Trauma center experience (Level 1 or Level 2) required
Proficient in general, orthopedic, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases
Preferred experience in neurosurgery, trauma, bariatrics, and GU procedures
OB scrub experience strongly preferred
Certification in Surgical Technology preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
