This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Labcorp. We are currently looking for a Senior iOS Engineer in Massachusetts (USA).

This role offers the opportunity to join a small, dynamic engineering team focused on building impactful mobile experiences in the health and wellness space. You will take ownership of iOS development for critical applications, modernizing legacy code, creating new features, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration, technical leadership, and pragmatic problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Accountabilities

  • Develop new features and maintain two iOS applications, taking full ownership of technical design and implementation.
  • Refactor legacy code, including converting Objective-C to Swift and updating architecture to modern standards.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, optimize performance, and ensure code quality across applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve team knowledge and maintain best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly iOS solutions.
  • Stay current with iOS development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance app quality and team capabilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level native iOS applications in an agile environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, including modern iOS development patterns.
  • Experience with Xcode, Auto Layout, and integration with RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
  • Ability to break down complex technical projects into clear stages and deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while accepting feedback.
  • Passion for improving user experiences in health and family-focused applications.
