• Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support the production process by ensuring products meet regulatory and internal quality standards. This role involves regular testing, equipment calibration, and cleanliness verification in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare QA equipment before production begins.
• Verify equipment (fryers and freezers) settings per the production schedule.
• Conduct daily equipment calibrations.
• Perform hourly product quality checks to maintain consistency.
• Complete SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) checks daily.
• Maintain accurate and timely quality records.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation sanitation, including ATP testing.
• Report any quality or food safety concerns to the Production Manager.
• Support regulatory compliance with USDA/FDA standards.
• Follow testing schedules and SQF (Safe Quality Food) protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide coverage of responsibilities in the absence of the QA Technician (handled by the Quality Supervisor).

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a quality assurance or similar role, ideally in food or beverage manufacturing.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Familiarity with USDA/FDA compliance.
• Exposure to SQF-certified environments.
• Experience in sanitation duties within production settings.

Required Skills:

• Basic math proficiency.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with quality control processes.
• Team-oriented work style.
• Basic understanding of food safety procedures.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally climb or balance.
• Capability to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to perform sanitation tasks such as sweeping, washing equipment, and garbage disposal.
