Job Description

System One is looking for an experienced Quality Control inspector for a direct QC Inspector role at a facility in Birmingham, AL.

• Inspect nuclear safety related steel products to verify conformance to procurement documents and applicable specifications.

• Inspect nuclear safety related steel products to verify compliance with internal processing documents and customer requirements.

• Calibrate and use measuring equipment used in inspection.

• Perform inspection and surveillance activities at remote locations when needed (i.e., occasional travel as needed.)

• Review and interpret ASTM and ASME material specifications.

• Review and approve vendor certification documents.

• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve issues as needed.

• Document nonconforming material conditions.

• Work in accordance with specified instructions, procedures, and drawings.
