Position Overview:

Electric Dough Pizza Co. is seeking a passionate and skilled Kitchen Lead to oversee kitchen operations and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, delicious food. Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Development:
• Lead, motivate, and mentor kitchen staff to achieve peak performance.
• Provide hands-on training and support to ensure team members meet company standards for food preparation, safety, and efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages growth and excellence.
• Identify team members with potential for advancement and assist in their development.
• Operational Excellence:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflows and on-time food preparation.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality of all menu items.
• Maintain clear communication between the kitchen and dining room teams to ensure seamless service.
• Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.

• Health & Safety Compliance:
• Enforce all safety and health department regulations to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen.
• Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Implement and monitor proper food storage and handling procedures.
• Customer Focus:
• Ensure the kitchen team consistently delivers exceptional food to provide a memorable guest experience.
• Actively address and resolve any guest concerns related to food quality or preparation.
• Support the mission of Electric Dough Pizza Co. by contributing to a guest-first approach in every aspect of kitchen operations.
• Growth & Development:
• Embrace opportunities for professional growth, with a clear ambition to advance to management roles.
• Take initiative in learning all aspects of kitchen management, including inventory, scheduling, and team leadership.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a leadership role within a kitchen or culinary environment recommended but not required.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• A strong commitment to health and safety compliance.
• Desire for personal and professional growth, with the goal of advancing in the restaurant industry.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment for extended periods.
