Job Description

• Location: Rochester, New York 14621
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days; 9a-5p
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $400 $480

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient data.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transportation of patients.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Support the RN during medical procedures and care routines.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements:

• Must have acute care hospital experience (REQUIRED).
• High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED).
• Acute care experience
• 1-2 years experience
• Completion of a certified Patient Care Technician or Nurse Aide program.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or Red Cross (REQUIRED).
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
