Position Overview: We are actively seeking a skilled Assistant Manager to strengthen our team of eye care professionals. This role requires a blend of leadership and hands-on involvement in daily operations, ensuring smooth practice management and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and motivate staff to achieve practice goals. Serve as an alternate primary point of contact for external vendors. Analyze daily production reports, year-to-date comparisons, and other relevant business metrics. Identify areas for growth and process optimization based on data analysis. Maintain a detailed understanding of daily workflows to support staff, patients, and doctors effectively. Ensure efficient daily office operations, stepping into various roles as needed. Manage patient interactions, especially in resolving issues with a calm demeanor. Conduct daily reviews of staff interactions to ensure task completion and resolve outstanding matters. Address and prioritize issues while balancing patient well-being and business interests. Lead morning check-ins and monthly meetings with the general manager. Provide clear guidance and constructive feedback to staff, promoting an attentive and respectful work environment. Certified ophthalmic technician or certified optician preferred. Previous managerial experience in the medical field. Familiarity with insurance and billing processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with multiple Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
