Job Description

Jenkins Landscape is a family owned and operated business since 1959. We are looking for an energetic, hardworking individual with a positive mindset to join our team! The most successful applicants will bring strong communication skills, knowledge of South Florida horticulture and safe installation practices, a professional appearance, and a strong sense of self-direction. 

Necessary Skills:

• Plant knowledge
• Fluency or advanced proficiency in English 
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor with or without accommodation such as: lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, standing and walking for the duration of a shift, bending, and kneeling.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to drive truck with trailer
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Previous work experience in professional landscaping or horticultural services

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload equipment from trailers and trucks
• General janitorial maintenance of nursery buildings and surrounding outdoor spaces
• Assist with projects related to landscape maintenance (may include mowing, weeding, tree moving, grading, refurbishment, mulching, etc.)
• Other tasks as assigned
