Express Employment is currently looking for a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator/General Labor in Toledo, OH. This dual-role position involves operating heavy machinery while also performing general labor tasks to support various construction and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently
• Perform general labor tasks, including site preparation, cleanup, and assisting with materials handling
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure safe operations
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
• Document equipment usage and report any mechanical issues to supervisors
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery is required
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols for heavy equipment operation
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate various types of heavy equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required
