VCA Madera Pet Hospital is looking for experienced Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a multi doctor practice located in Corte Madera (Marin County, CA). Our ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 years of experience. In this position you will be supporting our DVMs and Vet Tech team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. **Candidate must be proficient in:** + Providing compassionate care for patients + Venipuncture + IV catheter placement + Hands free radiography (patients are sedated if needed) + Bandage placement + Maintaining medical records via EMR + Patient restraint + SQ, IM, IV injections + Experience monitoring anesthesia or performing dental prophies/radiographs is a plus!
