Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced and knowledgeable Esthetician Instructors to join our faculty. In this role, you will provide high-quality instruction, create engaging lesson plans, and offer hands-on support to students as they develop the skills needed to succeed in their esthetics careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans that align with curriculum and learning goals.
Provide both theoretical and practical instruction on skincare techniques, facials, waxing, makeup application, and other esthetic procedures.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, growth, and engagement.
Demonstrate industry standards, proper techniques, and safety practices in esthetics.
Guide students through practical sessions, offering hands-on support and mentorship.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote their development.
Identify and support individual learning needs to ensure all students can thrive.
Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and new techniques to keep the curriculum fresh and relevant.
Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom and laboratory environment.
Inspire and mentor students, serving as both a role model and professional guide in their esthetician journey.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to continuous program improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing.
Current Instructor license required.
At least 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
Previous teaching or training experience, especially in an esthetics-focused environment, is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of esthetics principles, industry practices, and current trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for students.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for mentoring future estheticians.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using instructional technology and multimedia resources.
Dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment that values diversity and student success.
Position Details:
Day and evening positions available, with some flexibility for remote/partial work-from-home opportunities.
