This role exists to ensure Amplify Cell Technologies operates with full environmental integrity—securing permits, achieving ISO 14001 certification, and building a sustainability-first culture that protects both people and planet.
Achieve ISO 14001 Certification
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of an ISO 14001-compliant Environmental Management System for the Byhalia manufacturing site within the first 12 months.
Secure All Required Environmental Permits
Obtain and maintain air, water, and hazardous waste permits (Title V, SWPPP, SPCC) in alignment with federal and state regulations by Q4 of the first operational year.
Embed Sustainability Across Operations
Implement plant-wide initiatives to reduce water use, waste output, and material consumption by at least 20% over 24 months, in partnership with production teams and community stakeholders.
Mitigate Environmental Risks During Site Launch
Provide environmental engineering oversight during the construction and manufacturing launch phase, ensuring compliance with LiFePO₄ environmental guidelines and mitigating risk pre-production.
Represent Amplify to External Agencies
Build trust with local, state, and federal environmental bodies by providing transparent, proactive updates and participating in regulatory and community forums quarterly.
Quantify Environmental Impact of Operations
Analyze site data to report the ecological impact of key operations, delivering quarterly briefings to senior leadership with actionable insights.

5+ years managing compliance in industrial, battery, or chemical environments
Expertise in:
ISO 14001:2015 systems
Title V air permitting, SPCC, SWPPP, RCRA hazardous waste
Construction-phase environmental assessments
Experience with stakeholder-facing roles involving public or regulatory agencies
Prior success in sustainability program implementation strongly preferred
