**Description** **SAIC** **is seeking to hire an** **Electronics Technician** **to support our** **Land System Integration Modern Vehicle Fielding (LSI MVF)** **in** **Camp Pendleton, CA.** **The** **(LSI MVF)** **program provides the design, engineering and full scale integration of C4ISR capabilities into tactical military vehicle platforms. It improves efficiency and effectiveness of integrating mission equipment on vehicle platforms for specific mission activities and provides post-fielding sustainment support** **.** **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Read and follow integration documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, drawings and diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation. **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + High School diploma/GED. + Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications OR four (4) year electronics apprentice program. + Two (2) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout. + Must have a valid Driver's License. **REQUIRED CLEARANCE:** + US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance prior to start. SAIC will assist with the clearance process. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** + Must be able to squat, bend, climb in and out military vehicles and stand for long periods of time. Lift 50 pounds. + Repeatedly manipulating and handling tools needed for installing electrical components, Mechanical parts and metal work into vehicles. Familiar with the use and operation of power tools is necessary. + Moving and arranging cable supplies and electronic equipment. Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000.
