HHP Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Mechanic  to join our team in Henniker, NH. This full-time role is based out of our on-site garage, which supports a fleet of tractors, trailers, and a range of forestry and heavy equipment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends as needed)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: 💵 $24–$35/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and routine service on trucks, trailers, and heavy/forestry equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, brakes, drivetrains, and engine service
• Replace or repair components on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Weld, fabricate, and make structural repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate service records, complete work orders and time sheets
• Monitor inventory and communicate parts needs to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, including field service when necessary
• Work with equipment such as Western Star, Volvo, John Deere, Hood, and forklifts

Requirements:

• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• 1–3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow service procedures
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail
• Have own tools.
