Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master

Location: Hybrid in Downtown Toronto

Duration: Contract

Role Overview:

• We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master / Delivery Lead with strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), application development and testing, and agile delivery practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a DevOps POD, facilitating agile ceremonies, removing blockers, and ensuring successful delivery of cloud-native solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills and proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other Scrum and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a cross-functional DevOps POD including DevOps Developers, QA, and Product Owners.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of EPICs and user stories through the intake process.
• Collaborate with application development and testing teams to ensure quality and performance standards.
• Track and manage progress using Jira and Confluence, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement.
• Support cloud migration and application modernization initiatives across AWS and Azure platforms.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code(IaC), and security compliance.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies and agile delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Scrum tools.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Understanding of application development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and automation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models and cloud-native architectures.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
• Experience leading distributed teams in a POD structure.
• Background in cloud migration and application modernization projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, and change failure rate.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and productivity within agile teams.
