The Main Responsibilities of the Catering Assistant:

• Oversee assembly of food according to the sidekicks and Pathway procedures to ensure food is assembled properly.
• Preparation and execution of majority catering delivery and pick up orders.
• Transporting food to and from various event locations
• Having keen attention to detail
• Ensures timely preparation and delivery of all Chick-fil-A Catering Orders.
• Creating and maintaining cleaning/maintenance system for the upkeep of all Catering TMS bags.
• Ensuring sufficient catering supplies are maintained and available for orders (ice bags, ice buckets, utensils, ice scoops, etc.)
• Understanding and exceeding all policy and quality expectations.
• Seeks opportunities to deliver aspects of 2MS on every order.

Catering Assistant Job Description:

The Catering Assistant works alongside the Catering Director to ensure our Recipe for Service standard is met and focuses on delivering Operational Excellence on all deliveries and pick-ups. This individual must have a passion for service, excellence, and people. The Catering Assistant working with us must be able to prepare food in a clean kitchen area and comply with all the health and safety regulations while doing so. The Catering Assistant must also be able to transport food to and from various venues, as well as set up according to Chick-fil-A procedures. Outstanding customer service is a must, so the catering staff we hire must always meet all our customers' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities of Catering Assistant:

• Preparing food in a healthy and clean kitchen environment
• Consulting with customers about any potential changes before every catering order
• Transporting food to and from venues
• Setting up food-serving areas at the venues
• Making sure catering supplies are well-organized and stocked
• Knowing all Chick-fil-A catering procedures and systems
• Providing excellent customer service

Catering Staff Job Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and food preparation skills
• Catering experience is a plus
• High level of leadership skills
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Ability to accomplish tasks with little supervision
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• MUST possess a passion for people and world class service
• A friendly and positive attitude
