**Job Title: Chief Inspector**
**Job Description**
Join a leading certified repair station specializing in aircraft maintenance across various fleets. As a Chief Inspector, you will manage and coordinate the functions of the Quality Control Department, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and repair station procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage and coordinate functions of the Quality Control Department, including aircraft inspection, component inspection, NDT, and receiving inspection.
+ Ensure all inspections are properly performed according to technical data and applicable regulations.
+ Maintain proper inspection records, reports, and forms prior to product release for return to service.
+ Liaise actively with the FAA on aircraft inspections and ensure FAR-required reports are completed.
+ Keep the QC Authorization Roster and related Employment Summaries current.
+ Ensure inspection personnel are proficient and authorized to approve articles for return to service.
+ Perform inspections in accordance with the aircraft operator's approved inspection program.
+ Maintain a list of current RII inspectors for each operator and ensure proper distribution.
+ Review past use of equipment when notified of out-of-tolerance conditions to assess risk of nonconforming articles.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in inspection and quality control.
+ Valid Driver's license.
+ A&P License is highly preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Basic set of tools required.
+ Training certificates for General Familiarization and/or Systems Training in transport category aircraft, such as Boeing and Airbus models, preferred.
+ May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations.

**Work Environment**
Work on the B777 Cargo Conversion Program with potential to work property-wide. First shift, Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 50lbs unassisted. Operate equipment such as hydraulic press brake, power shear, and hand tools. Protective equipment like goggles, safety glasses, and ear protection required. Potential hazards include exposure to high noise levels, temperature changes, and unprotected heights.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona.
**Pay**
+ $32/hr-$45/hr
**Shift**
+ 1st shift M-F 6am to 2:30pm
+ 2nd shift M-F 2:30pm to 10:30pm
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
